About Asahi Ramen
Located at 600 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226, Asahi Ramen operates as a restaurant serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Pittsburgh will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Pennsylvania usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AMβ9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Asahi Ramen at (412) 684-9038; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is asahiramenpgh.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 215 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Itβs been a long time and I mean a LONG time since Iβve had ramen this authentic and absolutely delicious. Also THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Takoyaki, it was absolutely amazing along with the ramen. I cannot recommend this place enough, itβs so good after we tried it one day we immediately had to uber seconds the next day. Last time I had ramen this authentic and delicious it was in Chicago, and even then this place blows most of those out of the water.

Cozy and authentic local spot for solid ramen. Perfect for BYOB wine with your dinner. The space is pretty small but they turn tables over pretty quickly. We sat at the kitchen view bar area and it was so intimate and lovely for a girls night! The agedashi tofu was on point. I got the veg ramen but it was a bit bland and the service was a tad slow. The vibes were so nice and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back with my family!

Welcome food lovers! Asahi is a fantastic new restaurant in the heart of Brookline. The owner, Karen, is incredibly talented and is personally training the staff on the art of Japanese Ramen. π I had the pleasure of trying their black garlic Tonkotsu, and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever tasted! The flavors were so authentic and rich. It truly felt like a trip to Tokyo with every bite. My partner got the vegetarian ramen and he loved it too. π―π΅ I highly recommend checking out this gem for an unforgettable ramen experience. You won't be disappointed! Parking can be tricky to find on the Blvd so be prepared to walk a block or two. The inside of the restaurant is smaller so if you go when theyre busy it could be a tiny wait, although we went at 8pm and had no wait at all. I'll definitely go back many more times.

Delicious ramen and amazing staff! I am so happy to have a ramen place so close to home. We ordered the vegetable gyoza, tonkatsu ramen, and vegetable ramen. All of them were delicious and we can't wait to go back and try everything else! The staff are so nice and friendly too. They are helpful to make sure you understand everything and provide phenomenal service.
